The course is designed to provide students with basic principles of digital imaging and PACS system. And its role in the entire medical imaging modalities. Also covers the fundamental of computing, networking, DICOM, image acquisition, workflow, RIS, HIS, Image Compression, Digital Image visualization and Voice recognition. In the practical sessions students will practice on PACS to fully grasp the theoretical part. Small project of developing PACS and Tele-radiology will be carried out.
