This course is design to provide to the student with basic clinical and technical skills in application of computed tomographic imaging. This course is achieved for students to a number of skills and activities to be able competently to perform the protocol for CT examinations, protocol and imaging technique; CT Head, Trans axial, Protocol and imaging technique; CT Orbits, Trans axial, Protocol and imaging technique; CT Temporal bone (middle and inner ear), Trans axial, Protocols and imaging techniques; Trans axial CT Chest routine, Lung cancer screening HRCT Suspected pulmonary embolism,, Protocols and imaging techniques; CT Abdomen, Trans axial, Liver Protocols, Pancreatic protocols and Kidney protocols, Protocols and imaging techniques; CT Pelvis, Trans axial; Routine pelvis, Evaluate ovarian mass/ cervical cancer, prostate, Acetabulum/ Pelvis; evaluate suspected fracture., Protocols and imaging techniques; CT Spine, Trans axial, Cervical spine, Dorsal spine, Lumber spine, Criteria for diagnostic image and modification of technique in clinical condition that affects image quality, Evaluation of image for any artifact, quality, anatomy and pathology• Name the radiation protection devices that can be used to reduce patient dose in CT and describe the correct application of each.
