This course deals with orofacial region surgical anatomy with detailed lecturing on trigeminal nerve and its divisions, pain concept, theories, pathway, and neurophysiology and different methods of anesthesia for pain control. The study of the principles and basis of Local anesthesia including its components (L.A. drug and Vasoconstrictor), side effects, injection techniques, armamentarium and finally possible complications and their management. The course will also include explanation of the importance of infection control and the different methods used in this subject.
