This course is designed to develop the students’ reading skills, including the ability to read the general English that is expected to be encountered in their courses. The course also improves the students' ability to read the material critically and analytically. This is principally achieved through the development of the reading process, and through training in reading strategies, critical thinking skills and vocabulary-building exercises.
