Medical practice between ethics and law is a diverse course with diverse perspectives and different contexts. The objective of this course is to increase students’ awareness and understanding of ethical and legal issues that arise in the clinical field. The course will begin with a short history of ethics in Islam and how Islamic Bylaws developed and evoked in medical filed. Content will be presented in many forms, including not only reading and lecturing, but also flipped classrooms with different resources. Students will have the opportunity to think, read, write and talk about the issues and challenges in their own work and in real-life case examples. Small group sessions will engage students in the development of student-lead activities. They will be encouraged to be creative and think out of the box.
