Students will choose a clinical or medical specialty to spend a field attachment in for 2-4 weeks. Students are asked to spend the whole working hours in the field and agree with their college mentor on a work plan and educational activities to collect a evidence of learning (Logbook) that will be validated and followed by hospital supervisor for each student.During the elective period, it is requested from the student to attend the usual working hours and to follow a structured plan of work in the specified work placement for a period of 3 weeks. Each student is expected before the elective period under supervision of faculty staff Mentor to formulate measurable and specific learning objectives and prove how he can fulfill it during the period of his elective training. The students are expected to attend and share in the routine activities in the selected department and to share in the actual care of patients during the conduction of these activities. Progress reports and final evaluation forms from the mentor of each student in the clinical facility are requested as mandatory and vital part in the evaluation process of the students. Final evaluation process will be conducted by the faculty staff with evaluation of the logbook of each student which will prove the performance and level of excellence for each student.
