In this course students will have the chance to work in small groups of 5-7 students to develop a scientific poster for a topic of their choice. Working in this project will allow students to develop an understanding of disciplinary knowledge outside of but relevant to medicine and access expert tuition in a variety of medical and non-medical areas. They will explore and develop their skills in the use of applied research methods (qualitative and quantitative) as well as their skills in writing and presentation of posters.
