This course provides students with the necessary knowledge and skills required to work with database stored procedures and functions, database packages, and database triggers. Students will learn about database structure related to specific DBMS which include memory management, storage management and process management. In addition to dealing with different file systems (data file, control file, redo log file) type which control the database. The course also covers topics related to database instance, backup and recovery technique, transaction and concurrency control. Students will be able to design a secure database through creating and managing database users with a set of privileges.
