This course is designed to introduce students to the major notions in morphology and the rules which govern word formation processes as well as the differences between the different types of morphemes. The course will also deal with prefixes and suffixes. In order to enhance the student's linguistic analytical skills, this course will also provide practical training in morphological analysis of the internal structure of words.
