This course introduces the student to the basic principles of rehabilitation and team work.It focuses on the role of each member of the team and the relationship between those members. The course also covers how medical rehabilitation enhances and restores the functional ability and quality of life to those with physical impairments incurred in people with diseases or injuries to the muscles, bones, and nervous system. The principles of prosthetic and orthotic prescription are also covered.
