This course provides a general introduction to the common IT system components and the general cybersecurity effects associated with them. The most used IT systems (hardware/software) related to Cybersecurity are covered in the course. This course includes protection of endpoint devices, Virtual environments and cloud computing, Supervisory control and data collection (SCADA) environments, real-time response environments, critical infrastructures, network security components, Intrusion detection and prevention systems, cyber-incident response, software security, Vulnerabilities monitoring, people and their security role, Physical and Environmental Security.
