This course will address normal acquisition of speech sounds and phonological development as well as disordered articulatory and phonological patterns. The nature, etiology, evaluation methods, therapeutic interventions, and service delivery models of speech sound disorders will also be discussed. The role of the speech-languagepathologist in addressing cultural, professional, and ethical issues will be included.
