The course covers the issues related to the assessment and intervention of adult language disorders in brain-damaged individuals. Causes and patterns of communication deficits including classification of aphasia are addressed. Additionally, the course will provide the foundational knowledge and skills associated with the evidence-based management (assessment, analysis, planning, and treatment) of individuals with an acquired language disorder.
