This course describes the sedimentary rocks. It deals largely with the nature, types, characteristics, and classifications of sedimentary rocks. The course also illustrates the various types of sedimentation processes, petrographic features of clastic and non-clastic sedimentary rocks, their mineral composition and their depositional environments and economic importance and that treated in mining and industry.
