In this course on malware analysis, students will delve into the world of malicious software and
learn essential techniques for analyzing and understanding its behavior. Starting with an
introduction to malware analysis, students will explore both basic static and dynamic analysis
methods. As progress, students will advance to more sophisticated static analysis techniques and
gain insights into self-defending and Windows-specific malware. They will also learn how to
unpack, decrypt, and deobfuscate malware, handle exploits and shellcode, reverse bytecode
languages, dissect Linux and IoT malware, and utilize various tools for effective malware analysis.
