This course aims to provide students with the knowledge of several special topics in communication sciences and disorders (CSD) that have clinical importance in diagnosis and management of communication disorders. In this course, students will learn about different radiological methods and techniques, and pharmacology relating to CSD. Also, students will learn about some critical roles of audiologists and speech pathologists in acute care including intraoperative procedures in cases such as cochlear implants and awake craniotomy.
