This course introduces medical students to the language of medicine. The course will provide the students with the principle of medical word and develop their medical fluency and vocabulary. Students will gain an understanding of basic elements, rules of budling analyzing medical words and terms (prefixes, suffixes, and roots) associated with the human body. The course will assist students to understand distinct terms that commonly used for describing human body, how it works, its disorders/pathologies and clinical procedures and treatments applied to treat it.
