This course provides students with an insight and the basics of web application development and programming. The course will provide students with hands-on experience on professional web-based applications development tools. Topics covered include web page layout with HTML and CSS, JavaScript for event handling, PHP as a server-side scripting language, and MySQL to provide access to a custom database. Students will also gain a general knowledge in advanced topics such as Secure programming, Web Security and vulnerabilities, Web Applications.
