This course is an introduction to basic microcontroller programming and interfacing. It covers the introduction to embedded systems design methodologies and basic microcontroller architecture. It covers the C programming fundamentals (Basics, Control Structures, C Functions, and Libraries). It covers the basic interfacing and programming of various Microcontroller peripherals and standards including Digital I/O Interfacing and Programming (LEDs, Switches, 7Segments display LCD and Keyboard Programming), Analog-to-Digital and Sensor Programming, in addition to Serial Communication Programming (UART, SPI, I2C). It also covers wireless communication programming. Finally, It includes hands-on projects using Arduino-based microcontroller platforms.
