Practical Physical Chemistry II provides students with an opportunity to apply the knowledge gained in theoretical lectures in physical chemistry courses to experimental problems. It offers an opportunity to investigate chemical concepts in an experimental setting according to the physical chemistry laboratory health and safety regulations. The student will apply his/her critical thinking skills to resolve problems in surface chemistry, catalysis, spectroscopy, computational chemistry and quantum chemistry. Special focus is on the student’s ability to interpret experimental data and write coherent scientific reports.
