This course builds on foundational finance concepts to explore advanced topics in corporate finance, including agency problems, corporate governance and stakeholders management, ESG considerations and ethical decisions making, financial modeling and Pro Forma analysis, free cash flow and corporate valuation, capital budgeting under risk and uncertainty, raising equity capital and debt financing, capital structure theories and policies, dividend theories and policies, mergers, acquisitions, and corporate restructuring, working capital management, and short-term financial planning. The course emphasizes the application of financial theory to decision-making in real-world scenarios, focusing on risk analysis, valuation, and strategic financial management. Students will use financial models, tools, and case studies to develop a comprehensive understanding of the financial manager's role in creating value.
