The administration oversees the system of research chairs by monitoring and implementing all administrative, financial, technical, and media-related tasks, ensuring the support of a distinguished research environment and enhancing the outputs of the chairs in accordance with best institutional practices and national and international standards. This contributes to achieving the university’s strategic goals and enabling innovation and sustainable scientific research.
Contributing to positioning the University and the Kingdom in a distinguished global standing in scientific research.
Developing and stimulating the scientific research movement at the University across all fields, with particular emphasis on applied fields that address Saudi societal issues and serve national development.
Strengthening partnerships between the University and various sectors of society, including institutions and individuals.
Optimizing the utilization of donors’ contributions, grants, and endowments to support research projects and scientific research in general.
Attracting an elite group of distinguished international scientists and researchers, and preparing a generation of outstanding national researchers.
Recruiting outstanding scientific talents to support the University’s research and academic programs.
Enhancing the quality of university education and the research of postgraduate students.
Benefiting from highly qualified experts with extensive experience to advance knowledge and sciences at the University.
Promoting and disseminating a culture of innovation, creativity, and development across various fields of science and knowledge.
Transferring, localizing, developing, adapting, and Arabizing modern technologies to suit local conditions in the Kingdom.
Supporting the University’s scientific research infrastructure through qualified personnel, modern equipment and technologies, laboratories, and research facilities.
Optimizing the use of the University’s human and material resources.
Preparing and publishing theoretical and applied scientific studies and research.
Providing financial support for the implementation of scientific research in a manner that ensures quality and sustainability.
Translating books and producing scientific dictionaries and encyclopedias, as well as developing information sources and databases in the field of specialization, in coordination with the relevant entities within the University.
Organizing specialized scientific events, including conferences, seminars, panel discussions, and workshops.
Exchanging scientific expertise, attracting visiting professors, and building partnerships with local, regional, and international organizations, institutions, and authorities.
Delivering workshops and providing research consultations in the field of the research chair’s specialization, in coordination with the relevant entities within the University.
