Overview

The Subsite is one of the academic pillars of the university, dedicated to offering distinguished educational programs, promoting scientific research, and graduating qualified professionals who contribute to the community and job market within an engaging and high-quality learning environment.

Objectives

  • Establish and manage a university-wide system for community service and development.
  • Attract and prepare human talent to serve and develop the community.
  • Build local and global partnerships to enhance the quality of life in Madinah.

 

Tasks

  • Supervising the follow-up of community service plans for the university’s colleges and departments.
  • Supervising the follow-up of community service plans for the university sectors.
  • Coordinating volunteer and community efforts inside and outside the university.
  • Approving volunteer opportunities for university sectors on the National Platform for Volunteer Work.

  •  Documenting initiatives and volunteer opportunities of university sectors.

  • Supervising the training and qualification of volunteers.

  •  Activating the role of strategic partners in the field of volunteer work and social responsibility.

Initiative Submission Process

  •   Fill out the Initiative Approval Form here at least five days before the scheduled implementation date.
  • Submit the initiative approval request via Wathiq.
  • Provide the implementing entity with the approval number and the link to the volunteering opportunities for joining.
  • Commit to evaluating the initiative through both the beneficiaries’ evaluation link and the volunteers’ evaluation link..

  •  After completing the implementation of the initiative, provide the administration with an achievement report according to the following template here.

  • The volunteering hours for the initiative will be approved, and the implementing entity will be officially notified
