Program Mission
To qualify and prepare specialized researchers in curricula and methods of teaching in general, and in teaching the Arabic language in particular, through programs that meet quality standards and academic accreditation requirements, keep pace with contemporary developments, and provide educational consultancy and research services to community institutions within a long-term strategic partnership.
Program Objectives
1- To provide students with distinguished academic expertise in the field of curriculum and methods of teaching Arabic language.
2- To develop students’ competencies in critical thinking and analysis through the preparation of theses and research projects in the field of curriculum and methods of teaching Arabic language.
3- To promote the principles of lifelong learning to enable students’ continuous professional self-development and support their participation in conferences, seminars, and specialized courses related to curriculum and methods of teaching Arabic language.
4- To communicate professionally and effectively with all institutions associated with the program’s objectives.

K1 Explain the problems and issues related to the content of Arabic language curricula in terms of linguistic skills, linguistic and literary concepts and knowledge, and professional practice within schools.
K2 Interpret theories and practices of planning and developing Arabic language curricula, and their integration with other educational disciplines within the educational system.
Skills
S1 Propose original and innovative responses, and well-informed and persuasive judgments concerning issues and problems related to teaching and learning Arabic language, drawing on published research and reports to develop curricula and improve teaching methods.
S2 Apply educational research methodologies in analyzing issues of curricula and methods of teaching Arabic language through scholarly writing, leading to applicable findings and recommendations.
S3 Utilize educational knowledge in developing strategies for teaching and learning Arabic language.
