The College of Applied Medical Sciences in Yanbu Governorate, represented by the Department of Medical Laboratories as part of the student activities plan, organized a distinguished scientific activity titled "Exploring the Body: Where Biochemistry Meets Immunity – with a Pathological Insight", with participation from faculty members and students of the college.
The activity aimed to highlight the importance of integration between biochemistry, medical immunology, and pathology, contributing to a comprehensive understanding of the human body and supporting accurate disease diagnosis. It also helped develop the students’ scientific and social skills, while strengthening their role in community service and national health awareness.
The program included a series of educational and practical activities that supported learning outcomes linked to academic courses, such as enhancing teamwork, exchanging scientific ideas, understanding immune response mechanisms, and correlating laboratory results with clinical details, thereby improving students’ analytical and scientific interpretation skills.
This activity is part of the student activities plan for the first semester of the academic year 1447 AH, specifically under the Live Community Campaigns axis, which aims to implement awareness campaigns on healthy nutrition, the importance of regular check-ups, and disease prevention methods, reinforcing the college’s role in serving the community and achieving its educational and awareness mission.
