The College of Computer Science and Engineering at Taibah University is pleased to host Dr. Azhar Mohd Ibrahim, Coordinator of the Advanced Multi-Agent System Lab at the Department of Mechatronics Engineering, International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), and a specialist in Mechatronics Engineering from Universiti Sains Malaysia.
This visit comes as part of the College’s ongoing efforts to strengthen international academic and research collaboration and to foster knowledge exchange with distinguished scholars and research institutions worldwide.
During his visit, Dr. Azhar is expected to engage in a range of academic and research activities, including scientific seminars, collaborative discussions, and knowledge-sharing initiatives in cutting-edge fields such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Robotics, Deep Reinforcement Learning, Computational Intelligence, Neuro-Symbolic Artificial Intelligence, and Intelligent Multi-Agent Systems.
The visit also aims to explore opportunities for joint research projects and strategic partnerships between Taibah University and leading Malaysian academic institutions, contributing to the advancement of research and innovation in emerging technologies.
In addition, the visit coincides with preparations for the 6th Multi-disciplinary Conference on Artificial Intelligence Technology (MCAIT 2026), which will be hosted by Taibah University in Al-Madinah Al-Munawarah, Saudi Arabia, from 3–5 November 2026. The conference will serve as an international platform bringing together researchers, academics, industry professionals, and graduate students to discuss the latest developments and innovations in artificial intelligence.
Through such initiatives, the College of Computer Science and Engineering reaffirms its commitment to enhancing its global academic presence, promoting research excellence, and establishing impactful international collaborations that support innovation and scientific advancement.
