The Colleges of Engineering and Computer Science and Engineering at Taibah University organized the "Makeen" Graduation Projects Exhibition, an initiative aimed at strengthening integration between academic institutions and the business sector, while showcasing students’ innovative projects and aligning them with development needs and labor market demands.

This year's edition brought together 350 male and female students representing 12 engineering and technology disciplines from Taibah University, the Islamic University of Madinah, and Prince Muqrin University. Participants presented their projects and innovative ideas in a competitive environment that fosters creativity and excellence.

A total of 80 projects competed across four main categories:

  • Best Project Idea

  • Best Prototype

  • Best Environmental and Social Impact

  • Best Technical Excellence

The judging panels included distinguished national experts from the industrial sector, who evaluated the projects based on criteria such as technical quality, innovation, and practical feasibility. This process contributes to enhancing graduates’ professional readiness and aligning educational outcomes with labor market needs and the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.

The organizers expressed their appreciation for the support provided by the Salem Bin Mahfouz Foundation, the official sponsor of the event, and also acknowledged the valuable contributions of strategic partners, organizing committees, and working teams whose efforts ensured the success of the exhibition.

The "Makeen" Exhibition reflects Taibah University's commitment to fostering innovation and entrepreneurship, strengthening partnerships with both public and private sectors, and empowering national talents to develop technological and engineering solutions that contribute to the development of Al-Madinah Al-Munawarah and the Kingdom as a whole.
