Department of Computer Science

The Computer Science Department is the first department established within the College of Computer Science and Engineering in Yanbu. The department offers a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (for both male and female students) and aims to develop students’ theoretical and practical knowledge in various fields of computer science. Additionally, it focuses on enhancing essential skills required to meet the demands of the job market in software development, computer systems management, cybersecurity, website design, and computer networks

The department is home to a distinguished faculty with expertise and competence, contributing to achieving its vision and objectives. Furthermore, the department provides training programs supervised by leading global companies, enriching students’ academic and technical skills. These programs, supported by the college administration, include Microsoft Club courses and Cisco Academy training, preparing students to obtain international certifications such as CCNA and IT Essentials. These certifications help students secure exceptional career opportunities in the field
