The College of Dentistry continues its blessed journey that was launched by virtue of Higher Education Council Resolution No. 13/35/1426 AH dated 4/29/1426 AH and crowned with the approval of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Chairman of the Higher Education Council, by the gracious telegraphic directive No. 5640/M.B dated 4/22/1426 AH.
The college has witnessed continuous development and updating of its vision and mission to keep pace with the Kingdom’s 2030 vision to be a center of excellence in the field of education, research and practice of dentistry, to be in the ranks of the best dental colleges locally and regionally, to strengthen the community of Medina with generations of male and female dentists distinguished by their high skill and sublime Islamic ethics
In Addition, The efforts of all its members, supported by the university's senior management, are combined to achieve a number of goals, the most prominent of which is preparing and graduating national cadres of dentists with high scientific and professional competencies and providing an integrated multi-level program that applies the highest quality standards in education and training, using the latest methods to achieve local and international standards for academic accreditation of the academic degrees it grants. It also works to empower dentists in a manner that is consistent with the needs of the labor market in various dental specialties and to create postgraduate programs to keep pace with global trends in dental specialties and to provide comprehensive care that aims to improve and ensure the highest levels of health care for a variety of patients through an integrated medical hospital that helps in understanding the oral health needs of local communities and engaging in community service by providing preventive awareness programs for those in need of care and improving the infrastructure to ensure achieving sustainable development and improving clinical facilities to comply with local and international quality standards. In the field of partnerships and scientific research, the college seeks to encourage and develop the skills necessary for scientific research and support academic and applied research programs of strategic importance in development plans and to enhance strategic partnerships by strengthening ties and opening channels of constructive cooperation and exchanging scientific expertise with local scientific institutions. International and providing scientific and technical advice and services to governmental and non-governmental bodies interested in oral and dental health.
Thanks to Allah and His grace, the College and Hospital of Dentistry is a reference center in the Medina region, providing specialized treatment services to all segments of society. The college also contributes significantly to awareness programs directed at the community through its educational and student cadres equipped with experience and knowledge.
