About the Department:
The Department of Medical-Surgical Nursing was established in 1430 AH after a proposal was submitted to the Minister of Higher Education to approve the restructuring of the College of Applied Health Sciences into the College of Nursing. It is one of the largest departments in the college in terms of the number of faculty members and the number of courses offered.
Through this department, students begin to learn about the nursing profession and acquire essential nursing skills, which prepare them to practice in other nursing specialties.
