About the Department:

Department of Psychiatric Nursing, established in the academic year 1436–1437 AH, is one of the five departments in the College of Nursing at Taibah University. We strive to achieve the university’s vision for excellence in higher education and the strategic goals of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, which aim to enhance the appeal of the nursing profession. Our department is committed to developing comprehensive educational programs that prepare nursing professionals equipped with advanced knowledge and skills to promote mental health concepts among individuals, families, and communities.

 

Advantages of Department:

  •  Providing students with the information, skills and attitudes necessary to strengthen the health concepts of the individual, family and community psychiatry.
  •  Training on the use of effective connection and communication skills in dealing with patients.
  • Application of the tripartite concept of psychiatric health care.
  • Using scientific research to solve problems related to psychiatric health and mental illness.
