Overview

The Deanship of Admission and Registration is one of the supporting deanships at Taibah University.  It supports the University's mission, vision, objectives, and values.

The Deanship was established by Royal Decree No. 07/24232 dated 11/05/1425H based on the decision of the Higher Education Council No. 06/34/1425 (34) and dated 25/04/1425 e. This deanship is the gate through which students pass to begin their academic journey until they graduate.

The Deanship of Admission and Registration commences its services in accordance with the regulation of study and examinations for the academic level. The Deanship also contributes to providing its electronic services through its programs and computer systems for university faculties, staff members, research and studies centers, planning, statistics, and information.

The Deanship of Admission and Registration seeks to fulfill its role in realizing the scientific development of civil society and outlines its steps toward leadership and excellence. Its strategic plan focuses on facing challenges and participating in achieving the goals and directives of the authorities, represented by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Vision 2030, and the strategy of the National Transformation Program towards a knowledge society and actively participating in building the knowledge economy.

Key Responsibilities of the Dean

  • Represent the Deanship within and outside the university.

  • Achieve Taibah University’s overarching goals and policies related to the Deanship of Admission and Registration.

  • Follow up on the implementation of decisions, circulars, and directives related to the Deanship, issued by the University President, vice presidents, or the University Council.

  • Nominate vice deans and department directors of the Deanship and oversee their work.

  • Supervise the administrative and technical operations of the Deanship and its affiliated departments, working to improve their performance.

  • Correspond with college deans on all matters related to admissions and registration.

  • Review and verify university admission results and take necessary actions for their approval.
