The course introduces the principles of atomic and molecular physics at intermediate level of the BSc degree program. It covers the description of atoms in the framework of classical and quantum mechanics, the interaction of atoms with electric and magnetic fields. The second part is molecular physics in which we show the student how to solve the Schr?dinger Equation for diatomic molecules by using some approximations.
