A study of physical therapy as a profession with emphasis on the patient management model, patient safety principles, legal and ethical issues, psychosocial considerations, and PT/patient relationships. The course will explore licensure, PT documentation of care, practice issues, patient populations, professional interactions, and strategies to enhance patient safety within healthcare systems.
