In this course students will be introduced to the field of nutritional epidemiology and the process of obtaining valid and reliable dietary, biochemical, and anthropometric data. Topics related to gene–nutrient interactions, diet and disease relationships in selected health conditions, nutritional epidemiology in developing countries, and translating the findings of nutritional epidemiological studies into guideline and health policy will be also covered.
