This course is mainly a continuation of the development of fundamental principles of chemistry and its experimental applications. The experiments will cover the density of materials, stoichiometric calculations, acid-base and oxidation-reduction titrations, precipitation reactions and percentage yield, qualitative identification of cations and anions in simple inorganic salts, and simulations of molecular shapes and Structures. Virtual chemical lab software and/or websites are to be used to carry out some lab experiments and simulations.
