Topics covered in this course are, structure, coordination numbers, geometrical shape and nomenclature of complexes. The course addresses the reactivity of coordination compounds, bonding theories, magnetic and color properties of complexes. Transition metal organometallic chemistry and reaction mechanism will be also scrutinized.
