The course is an introductory course to the students of the geology program in their fourth university level. It furnishes the students with the fundamental concepts of the geology science, emphasizing on the origin, internal and external structure and shape of the Planet Earth and how it evolved through time till it reached its present structure. This course emphasizes on internal and external geological processes that shaped the earth. It clarifies the dynamic nature of the Planet Earth Systems. The course outlines the composition of the Earth’s material including crystals, minerals and rocks.
