A continuation of Physics (I). Covers electricity (electric fields, including Gauss’s law; electric potential; capacitors and resistors; DC circuits), magnetism (sources of the magnetic field, including Ampere’s law; introduction, including Faraday’s law and Lenz’s law), alternating current circuits, introductory material on electromagnetic waves, light and optics (interference). The laboratory includes experiments illustrating the principles, laws and concepts discussed in the course.
