This course provides the students with the ability to understand, develop and comprehend how computer information bits move between devices. Specifically, the students will study the TCP/IP protocol stack and the OSI network reference model in detail. Students will be able to understand the different networking types including LAN, MAN, WAN, and the Internet. In addition. Students will also get to know some of the application layer protocols like HTTP, FTP, DNS, and Mail protocols.
