The Islamic Architecture center works through a number of research areas that have been identified based on the availability of specialists' cadres from faculty members and technicians, in addition to serving the largest segment of beneficiaries inside and outside the university and also achieving a suitable research environment for all colleges and departments connected with the center's specialization.

Responsible for the Urban Sustainability Laboratory and studies related to urban planning, sustainability and smart cities.

Responsible for the Local Architecture Laboratory and studies related to Islamic architecture.
