Islamic Architecture center is a specialized research center established in 2023 after restructuring the sectors of Taibah University and is affiliated with the Vice presidency for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research. The vision and mission of the center revolve around leadership and excellence in the Islamic architecture research field to contribute to knowledge and serve the community through advanced technologies, distinguished expertise, effective partnerships, and providing a research environment that develops creativity, innovation, and scientific research in Islamic architecture, which contributes constructively to knowledge addition and community responsibility.

Objectives

  •  Build specialized research cadres in the field of Islamic architecture to contribute supporting Taibah University's research priorities.
  • Support participation and cooperation in the field of scientific research and innovation with governmental, private, industrial and professional sectors, universities, Commissions and research centers at local and international levels.
  • Hold conferences and workshops to achieve the research priorities of the Islamic Architecture center.
  • Support the researchers from within the university to publish scientifically in journals with high impact factor by providing the scientific and research environment for the center and motivating them to participate in research initiatives.
  • Develop the research capabilities of talented students at the university by qualifying and training them and providing supportive environment for innovation through supervision, guidance and implementation of creative projects and ideas in the research field of the center.
