In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Praise be to Allah, the Lord of all worlds, and peace and blessings be upon the most honorable of Prophets and Messengers,
Our Prophet Muhammad and upon all his family and companions, and thereafter.
It is my pleasure to welcome you, on behalf of myself and my colleagues from teaching staff, administrative faculty members and the students, to the website of the College of Applied Medical Sciences in Al-Ula at Taibah University. Through this website, you will find rich information about the college's different programs and activities.
The College of Applied Medical Sciences is one of the first colleges at Al-Ula branch of Taibah University. The Royal decree was issued in 1429 AH approving the affiliation of the Health Institute for Girls in Al-Ula with the University, and then another Royal decree was issued in 1432 AH approving the reorganization of the institute and transforming it into the College of Applied Medical Sciences in Al-Ula.
The college's structure includes seven departments, with the department of Maternal and Child Nursing - Female section being active. The college's strategy is to continuously upraise its academic system to align with the most specialized programs in the healthcare sector in order to graduate specialized nursing professionals prepared with all the technical tools and high capabilities to provide outstanding patient care. The significant developments currently occurring in the nursing profession require ongoing follow-up in search of the desired development in the college’s educational process by reviewing the best global practices and then applying them to the curricula. This ensures the college achieves its full scientific and national goals.
The College of Applied Medical Sciences in Al-Ula offers its female students' curricula and studies that contribute to the development of both scientific and practical skills in an outstanding manner, supplying hospitals with these cadres and making them ambassadors of nursing within and outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The college also supplies the employment market with highly skilled nursing specialists capable of competing at the local, regional, and global levels.
Wishing you all the best.
Warm regards,
