Overview

The College of Arts and Humanities was established at Taibah University in Medina. The memorandum of the General Secretariat of the Higher Education Council regarding the restructuring of the university's colleges for teachers and girls was approved by Council Resolution No. 10/50/1429 dated 7/10/1429 AH. A royal decree was issued approving the minutes of the (fiftieth) session held on 7/10/1429 AH, by Royal Directive No. 10209/MB dated 12/30/1429 AH regarding the restructuring of the university's colleges for teachers and girls. Studies began at the college for male and female students starting from the first semester of the academic year 1430/1431 AH.
