Arabic is the primary language of instruction for major courses in most programs, while English is used in some programs.

What is the minimum and maximum course load in a regular semester and the summer semester?

  • The minimum course load for the first and second semesters is 12 credit hours, and the maximum is 19 credit hours.
  • For the summer semester (subject to availability), the maximum course load is 9 credit hours.

When is a student barred from taking the final exam due to absence?

A student is barred from taking the final exam if their absence exceeds 25% of the lectures.

 
 
 

How can a student apply for the removal of deprivation, and what are the conditions?

A student may submit an official request to the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs before the examinations, along with an acceptable excuse, provided that the student’s absence does not exceed 40% of the total number of course lectures.

Can a student review their answer sheet after grading?

Yes, a student has the right to do so by submitting a review request in accordance with the procedures of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities.
