About the Department

Established in 1444 AH, the Department of Accounting is a cornerstone of the College of Business Administration in Yanbu. It aims to qualify specialized graduates equipped with the theoretical knowledge and practical skills required in financial accounting, managerial accounting, auditing, taxation, and governmental accounting. The department offers a bachelor's program designed in accordance with high academic and professional standards, meeting the demands of the local and regional labor market while keeping pace with changes in the business environment. It also focuses on developing analytical capabilities, committing to ethical and professional standards, and promoting the use of modern accounting technologies. Furthermore, the department seeks to contribute to scientific research and community service by preparing highly qualified graduates capable of working efficiently in various sectors.
