Mission

To prepare advanced academic courses that contribute to build the skills and abilities of students to meet the needs of the community through a motivational educational environment that provides for gaining and spreading knowledge in the field of restorative dentistry.

 

About the Department:

Department is concerned with education of the basic principles of dental restorations, endodontics, and diagnosis of odontogenic diseases, in the pre-clinical and clinical stages. It is also concerned with the applications of dental biomaterials through utilizing modern laboratories that are equipped with audio-visual tools.

The department has 3 divisions

  • Division of restorative dentistry: concerned with functional and esthetic restoration of destructed teeth
  • Division of endodontics: concerned with teaching the basics of diagnosing and treatment of pulpal disease
  • Division of dental biomaterials: Concerned with teaching of the chemical and physical properties, and applications of materials in the treatment dental diseases

  • To contribute in conduction of research project of the highest quality and to publish in peer-reviewed journals and present them in international conferences.

  • To provide outstanding therapeutic services to the residents of Al Madinah (Taibah) in the specialty and teaching clinics.
