The Chemistry Department is committed to meeting quality standards in preparing and qualifying graduates and researchers from qualified national cadres that meet the labor market's needs and effectively contribute to solving scientific and industrial problems.
About the Department:
The bachelor's program in the Chemistry Department was established at the beginning of the academic year 1430/1431 AH, marking its role as one of the active departments within the College of Science in Yanbu. Its primary goal is to provide the community with distinguished and specialized competencies that contribute to the nation's development.
The Chemistry Department is considered one of the most prominent scientific departments within the College of Science in Yanbu. It was restructured and its name changed by approval No. 48/T, dated 6/8/1433 AH, based on a letter from His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education (No. 1200/A, dated 6/7/1433 AH). This letter included the approval of the Higher Education Council, which, in decision No. (12-9-1433), authorized the change of the "College of Science and Arts" to the "College of Science in Yanbu."
