About Deanship of Students Affairs

Overview

It is the entity responsible for providing supportive student services and offering appropriate forms of assistance to students. It is also dedicated to developing student skills, enhancing and supporting their social and psychological well-being, and guiding the outcomes of student activities and programs to help shape their character. The entity aims to instill Islamic and national values and actively engage students in community initiatives and volunteer work.

Key Responsibilities of the Dean

Supervising the preparation and implementation of the student activities and services plan
Review student activities and services plan reports
Supervising the development and training plan for the deanship’s male and female employees in the field of student activities and services
Regular meetings with deputy deans, department directors, supervisors, and club leaders
Supervising the content of events, publishing, and guest lists from inside and outside the university
Supervising the preparation of financial budgets for student activities and services
General supervision of the participation of university students and teams in sports competitions
General supervision of student activities, participation, and attendance with the aim of providing the necessary support to students
Honoring student clubs and award-winning students
Conducting field supervision tours of male and female student housing buildings and providing guidance to identify students’ needs and ensure the quality of service provided to them
Conducting field supervisory tours of sports facilities and establishments and providing guidance in identifying needs
Conducting field supervisory tours of dining halls and directing them to inventory needs
Conducting field supervisory tours of public facilities to ensure the quality of the services system provided to students and directing them to identify needs
Nominating male and female employees of the deanship to be assigned to trips, visits, and internal and external student participation
Honoring male and female employees according to achievement files
Attending relevant councils and standing committees
Nomination from the university presidency to fill the positions of deanship agencies
Receiving male and female students to listen to suggestions and complaints and provide them with the necessary support
Attending meetings related to student activities and service committees inside and outside the university and supervising their implementation
