The University’s Vice Presidency for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research is one of the main gateways to achieving the university's vision and mission, which are built upon the university's strategic plan. This plan aligns with the goals of the Ministry of Education, the Research and Innovation Authority, and Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 in the fields of higher education, scientific research, innovation, and entrepreneurship through the establishment and development of graduate programs, scientific research, and support for innovation and creativity.

The Vice Presidency has developed strategies and executive plans that align with the university's resources, including students, faculty members, and research infrastructure. These plans leverage the comparative and competitive advantages of the Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah region to achieve the university's objectives in leading and excelling in research and education, contributing to the creation of an integrated knowledge-based society. Partnerships with academic and research institutions, as well as industry, both locally and internationally, play a crucial role in expanding the horizons of scientific collaboration and the exchange of expertise to maximize the benefits of knowledge and scientific research, enhancing innovation, technology transfer, and entrepreneurship.
